Bishop Meets With Seminarians

Turkeys For TroopsOur Council and our members donated food items for 30+ food baskets (boxes) to be handed out to the needy soldiers and family members of the 63rd Expeditionary Signal Battalion on the 21st of November at the Bicentennial Chapel on Chamberlain Avenue. Knights participating were our Chaplain Father CPT Joseph P Lea, PGK Bill Holt, PGK Al Larson, PGK Ricardo Ruiz, Grand Knight Tim McCarthy, Tom Phair and one of our newest 4th Degree Knights James Rolle, who picked up and delivered the 32 Turkeys. Also assisting in gathering the food and putting the boxes together were SGT Amanda Daniels, Clare Lea (Fr Lea's Mom) and Karen Gutherman friend of the Lea family. The Knights along with the unit donations provided a total of 53 Thanksgiving meals to needy families.
